Le Camping

If you are told azure sky and field of cicadas, scent of lavender and villages perched at noon under the arbor, a little goat cheese served with a glass of rosé, what do you think? Provence, of course. We are at the heart of a nature shaped by vines and olive trees since antiquity.

Richness and diversity of nature with the Mont Ventoux (1912 m), the Sault plateau with its lavender, ochres of Roussillon and the laces of Montmirail.

A wealth of a prestigious past, Avignon with its Palais des Papes and its Pont Saint Benezet, and Orange with its Roman theater and choregies. Do not forget our fortified villages, the excavations of Vaison la Romaine, Gordes and its dry stones, Abbey de Senanque, all witnesses of the long history of our region.

Our Provencal cuisine is very tasty and colorful. Olive forms the basis of our cooking with olive oil and tapenade. Our fruits and vegetables are known for their flavor: candied fruits from Apt, Cavaillon's melon, strawberries from Carpentras, Lauris asparagus, truffles of Mont Ventoux... Do not forget our herbs of Provence: thyme, bay leaf, savory, sage, rosemary to flavor your grilled meats. Provence is a country of vine with the famous Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape and the wines of Provence.

Provencal markets and festivals

Bédoin Monday, Tuesday at Vaison, Carpentras on Friday. Not forgetting the famous flea markets to Isle sur Sorgue and Carpentras on Sunday. In July, enjoy the famous Festival d'Avignon.

After all that why not a little walk? Go breathe the scents of thyme, rosemary, broom while strolling on foot or bike on the many hiking trails that offers this classified biosphere.
